I'm in a Rock Band!

When I said I was busy over the last year, I wasn’t kidding. While working on my album ‘RUSH’ as well as the soundtracks for a fashion film & a documentary, plus performing all over the place, I also worked with one of my best friends on a very special project - a Rock album.

This friend is composer & guitarist Adel Al-Qattan who is finally stepping into the spotlight with his first musical offering; an EP titled Born Digital. He composed, produced, and mixed this EP entirely on his own. The artist name that Adel goes by is Qattana.

Initially, I signed on for this project as a songwriter. However, when I sang the first demo that I wrote for Adel and my producer Sarj at the studio one day while working on my album, Adel said he wanted me to sing on his EP. At first, I was hesitant because Rock is quite outside of my comfort zone, but the music is so good that it didn’t take much persuasion to make me say ‘yes’.

I’m so proud of Adel, his music is truly something special, and this is only the first taste of it. I’m honored to have been part of this project and thankful to Adel for pushing me to explore a different side of who I am as a performer & find new dimensions to my voice. I can’t wait to perform these songs live and sing my heart out!
